Benchmark Participates In 2020 Johnny Bench Golf Classic - Palm Beach Gardens, FL
At this year's Golf Classic, Johnny Bench partnered with Believers Academy, a local charity that invests in young men and women with developmental and learning disabilities.
Benchmark Wealth Management had the privilege of participating in the 2020 Johnny Bench Golf Classic this fall. The event was held at the PGA National Champions Course, home of the Honda Classic, located in Palm Beach Gardens Florida.
Benchmark co-sponsored the Johnny Bench Golf Classic with a fellow-Cincinnati firm, Whitmer and Company CPAs. Benchmark and Whitmer and Company have worked together for many years serving private clients with financial and tax complexities. To represent both firms, principals John Whitmer and Jan Newman were in attendance from Whitmer and Company as well as David and Matt Eltringham, principals at Benchmark. We were also pleased to have retired professional golfer, Hugh Baiocchi, as a member of our foursome. Hugh won over 20 professional tournaments over his career, including the 1998 Kroger Senior Classic in Cincinnati, Ohio.
We send a heartfelt thank you Johnny Bench and Bobby Bench as well as our good friends at Whitmer and Company for including us in the incredible event! Beyond the wonderful atmosphere and the opportunity to spend time with Johnny, the tournament benefited a wonderful local charity, Believers Academy! Check out their website here.
Believers Academy is dedicated to ESE students aged fourteen to twenty-one who are at risk of dropping out of their schools due to persistent lack of success in their environment. The main goal of Believers Academy is to reduce reading and math deficits while building vocational skills. Principal Lori Dyer is from Ohio and pours her heart and soul into Believers Academy.
We can’t wait for next year’s outing and the opportunity to support the greatest catcher of all time.
