Chief Moral Officer (CMO)
Jack L. Eltringham
Jack believes that great work starts with a environment where everyone can feel welcome, a team that supports each other, and at least one good tail wag per day.
His mission is to reduce stress, elevate morale, and remind the Benchmark team—and its clients—that it’s okay to pause, breathe, and smile once in a while.
Biography
Jack serves as Benchmark’s Chief Morale Officer, a role he takes very seriously—especially when it comes to welcoming clients, supervising snack breaks, and maintaining a calm, positive office environment. Known for his friendly demeanor and impeccable listening skills, Jack is often the first to greet visitors and the last to leave a meeting (usually because he’s asleep under the table).
With a natural ability to sense stress before it’s spoken out loud, Jack specializes in timely check-ins, desk-side encouragement, and strategic morale boosts in the form of tail wags and well-timed naps. His presence helps create an atmosphere that is approachable, relaxed, and genuinely human—all essential to building lasting client relationships and keeping the team spirits high.
Outside of official duties, Jack can be found conducting hallway patrols, attending impromptu meetings, and reminding the team of the importance of balance, patience, and getting outside for a walk. While he doesn’t manage portfolios, he plays a vital role in ensuring the people who do are at their best.
